Family Swim
Monday & Thursdays 9:45-10:30
Saturdays 12:00-2:00
$5 per family - at least one family member must be a member

Member Swim
Monday - Friday 3:30-4:30
*must be a WBGC member 6-18

Swim Lessons
Registration begins Wednesday February 21st at the front desk.

fees are based on 6 - 1/2 hour lessons

$40 members
$55 non-members

Water Babies
6mos - 3yrs
Parents required to be in the pool for this water adjustment class.

Goblin Sharks - Preschool
ages 3-5
Shallow end class
Monday 9:00-9:30
Tuesday 9:30-10:00
Wednesday 10:00-10:30

Sand Sharks - For non floaters
Shallow end class
This is the entry level for those who do not know how to float face down
with the face in the water. This level provides an orientation to the water
and introduces floats and glides with kicks. Children build their endurance
by improving distance and confidence.
Monday 4:30-5:30
Saturday 9:00-9:30 11:20-11:50

Mako Sharks
Shallow end class
This second level which helps the child build skills in front and back
swimming. children are introduced to deep water activities and endurance is
built on flutter kicking with glides and basic front crawl stroke. Rotary
breathing is introduced. Elementary backstroke arms are introduced.

Hammerhead Shark
Deep water class
This level provides more repetition work on front crawl, back glide with
flutter kick and as well the foundation for making wise choices and where
and when to swim. Diving is introduced and children will work on floats and
changing direction. Survival floating is introduced. Endurance is achieved
by building strength in crawl stroke with rotary breathing and flutter kick
and a 15 yd swim.

Saturday 9:05 - 9:35, 10:00-10:40, 10:45-11:15

Bull Shark
The front crawl, back crawl, survival floating and elementary backstroke are
further developed. Children work on kneeling dives, standing dives and
developing a greater sense of self-safety by understanding their own limits.
Open and closed turns are introduced. Endurance is built by a 25 yd swim.
Monday 5:30-6:00
Tuesday 10:00-10:30
Thursday 4:30-5:00
Saturday 11:10-11:40

Great White Shark
Breast stroke and sidestroke are introduced, along with sculling skills and
whip kick on the back. 50 yd swim repetitions are included to build
endurance.
Front and back crawl, breast, elementary and side strokes continue to be
refined and the butterfly stroke and dolphin kick are introduced. Children
are also introduced to safety on ice, elementary rescue of others with
throwing assists, treading water and the front spring dive. Endurance is
built through a 50 yd swim.

Thursday 4:30-5:00
Saturday 11:10-11:40


Tiger Shark Swim Team
Must be able to swim 100 yds with a proper crawl stroke, rotary breathing
and any stroke on back.
