Auction 2007

The Waltham Boys & Girls Club 17th Annual Auction on Friday, April 27th was a tremendous success thanks to the support of our sponsors, donors and attendees who bid with great generosity!  The Board, Staff and members thank you.

Sponsorships included both corporations and individuals within and beyond the Waltham Community who both understand and support the Club’s mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.  For a complete list of our sponsors, see below.

The evening festivities were enhanced by the Big Band sound of The Soft Touch Dance Band – a team of musicians who themselves receive no compensation for their performance but rather use their engagement fees to provide college scholarships for musically-talented students.

Auction items included VIP Concert Tickets, Trips including Aruba, Hawaii and Las Vegas, Golf Foursomes, a private jet to Martha’s Vineyard, Patriots and Red Sox tickets, and dinners. The highlight item of the night was a raffle for a trip to Scotland for two including golf at the finest courses in the world:  St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Gleneagles and Kingsbarns provided by Pioneer Golf.  Especially exciting was live auction bidding on a duplicate trip for golfing enthusiasts.

The funds raised from this years Auction will provide our youths with opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable to them.  In addition to the fun and recreational programs, the Waltham Boys and Girls Club offers Social, Leadership & Development, Career Readiness, Homework Assistance, Team Building and Community Service programs.  We are building future leaders with ever-greater impact that will change the shape of our community.
