Thanks to a generous contribution from Demont & Associates, Inc. of Portland, ME, Jennifer Aldworth, Executive Director of the Waltham Boys & Girls Club received a scholarship to attend Boys & Girls Clubs of AmericaÕs Northeast Leadership Conference last week in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The scholarship funds covered conference registration fees and three nights lodging for the conference.
Among many other workshops at the conference, Jenn attended Boys & Girls Clubs of AmericaÕs Resource Development Day which explored issues facing the Northeast Region and its culture of giving. She heard best practices from Club professionals and volunteers and learned about gifts of stocks and bonds, gift tax issues, estate planning, etc.
