The Waltham Boys & Girls Club is seeking an AmeriCorps Massachusetts Promise Fellow for the 2026–2027 service year.
This is an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, and emerging professionals who are passionate about youth development, education, and community impact.
As a Fellow, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting academic achievement, STEAM enrichment, and college and career readiness programs while building valuable skills in program leadership, partnership development, and youth engagement.

About the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship:
The Massachusetts Promise Fellowship (MPF) is an AmeriCorps program at Northeastern University dedicated to increasing youth academic enrichment, college & career exploration and social-emotional learning. Members (Fellows) lead and support out-of-school time youth programs across Massachusetts.
About the Waltham Boys & Girls Club:
For nearly 90 years, the Waltham Boys & Girls Club has inspired and enabled young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Today, we serve more than 1,200 youth annually through programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, leadership development, workforce readiness, STEM, athletics, aquatics, and family engagement.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide individualized and group academic support
- Develop and lead focused programming on STEM and college planning
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and local partners to support youth success
Qualifications Include:
- 17+ years old with high school diploma / GED
- U.S. Citizen, National, or Permanent Resident
- Able to serve full-time from August 31 2026-July 15 2027
- Be willing to comply to background check
