Waltham Boys & Girls Club’s Summer Sessions provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children entering 1st through 8th grade in the 2025-2026 school year. With experienced staff and counselors, we offer stimulating activities as well as leadership development and sports programs. At Waltham Boys & Girls Club, the safety and well-being of children are our highest priorities, providing caregivers with the confidence and peace of mind they deserve.
We provide complimentary breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks to all members. Our menus comply with USDA Nutrition Guidelines and can be conveniently accessed on our website or in the Lobby.

Elementary School Sessions
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
These groups provide a supportive and engaging environment designed to meet the unique needs of each age group. Members enjoy a diverse schedule that includes arts and crafts, nature exploration, outdoor play, team games and sports, imaginative activities, swimming, yoga, and STEM projects. Our elementary groups make up our licensed childcare program through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
Tuition:
- $300/week (includes a $50 deposit)
- Reduced rate for June 30 – July 3: $270/week

Mavericks Grades 3-5

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served. If a program reaches capacity, you can add your child to the waitlist, but this does not guarantee a spot. Use the same registration steps, and the system will automatically add you to the waitlist for full weeks. If space opens, we’ll contact waitlisted registrants by email in the order they register. No payments are taken for waitlists
Childcare vouchers
To enroll, simply complete the online registration and reach out to the Program Administrator, Molly Parrott, to obtain the EEC Confirmation of Provider form. Please note, that this step applies only to families with a State-funded Child Care Voucher.
Refund Policy
To receive a full refund (less credit card processing fees), we require at least one week’s notice prior to the scheduled session. If you are unable to attend summer sessions, deposits or registration fees (if applicable) will be refunded to the original credit card used for payment.
Please allow up to 15 business days for processing. Refunds typically appear on your account within 7 business days after processing. For payments made by check, refunds will be issued through the Waltham Boys & Girls Club Office and may take up to 30 business days to process.
Middle School Sessions
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
6th Grade: Introducing Project-Based Learning (PBL) Adventures! Engage in hands-on, interactive learning experiences designed to foster character development and ease the transition to middle school programs this fall. The cost is $60 per week or $468 for all sessions, with an exception for the week of June 30 to July 3, which costs $48.
7th and 8th Grade: Join our drop-in program and enjoy a summer packed with exciting games, creative activities, refreshing pool time with free swim access, and fun local field trips. The cost is $10/day.
Field Trips & Special Activities: We’re excited to offer a variety of field trips, including visits to local community spots and neighboring towns, along with two to three larger field trips (details coming soon!). Please note that if your member is not enrolled for the full week of programming, additional fees may apply for participation in these larger trips.
